Atlas Party Rental Website Redesign

A website redesign for South Florida based Atlas Party Rental has been launched. Atlas Party Rental is a leader in the event rental industry and a top player in South Florida, and Rosstamicah has worked with Atlas for several years now. This redesign of the Atlas site moved from the Joomla platform over to WordPress. The event rental quote request system that was implemented in the previous iteration of the site was carried over to the new WordPress website using WooCommerce as the cart system. The Warp responsive framework was used for the design, giving this redesign job for Atlas Party Rental a real facelift and makes it even easier for Atlas’s customers to view and request event rental items.

The new Atlas Party Rental website was built with the UIkit framework which provides a tool of ui elements similar to Twitter’s Bootstrap but for WordPress. Customizations were made to WooCommerce’s standard e-commerce solution to create a quote request system that allows Atlas’s customers to browse and shop similar to an e-commerce store but for Atlas’s event rental products. Once a quote request is submitted through the site, Atlas staff then contacts the customer about the products they want and helps with any additional assistance needed for the event. Additionally, all linens were tagged by color and size, making the complicated array of linens available a breeze for website visitors looking for a colors to match a certain theme or mood.

Design wise, the main color palette from the previous site was carried over, but with the addition of web based fonts used for the main navigation and headings throughout the site. This gives the site not only a fresh look, but these web based fonts are as crisp on a desktop as they are on a mobile or tablet device. Other minor design changes were made to give the entire website an updated look that feels fresh and truly brings out the colors of the events that Atlas works with.
